The History of DevelopMentor

Founded in 1993 by Mike Abercrombie and Don Box, DevelopMentor opened its first training facility in the Los Angeles area in 1994 and began offering Windows programming courses. In 1995, the company introduced the pioneering Guerrilla training events, five-day-and-night immersion experiences. All training courses are developed and delivered by a uniquely talented technical team, who not only possess an unrivaled understanding of their respective technical areas but also have the communication skills and the passion to share their knowledge with other developers.

Thirteen years later, DevelopMentor continues to offer hands-on training courses, Guerrilla courses and special training tours and events for experienced developers in metropolitan areas across the United States and internationally. Course offerings include comprehensive curricula in .NET, Java, XML/Web Services, Database Technologies and other programming-related topics. Our technical team also lectures at conferences and other events; many write technical reference books and articles for a variety of relevant journals.
